happy icu day! | 78 years of international credit union day®
Posted: October 15, 2026
Today, October 15, Service 1st Federal Credit Union will join over 56,000 credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day®. This year marks the 78th anniversary of International Credit Union Day®!
ICU Day highlights the many ways credit unions across the world help members work towards achieving their financial goals. This year's theme is "A Steady Signal in a Noisy World."
Credit unions were built on the principle of “people helping people.” We’ve seen that philosophy in action for more than 100 years, with credit unions providing access to affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs throughout our local communities. Service 1st is honored to be a part of this proud tradition.
Service 1st invites both members and non-members to visit their favorite branch locations and celebrate this day. While you're there, pick up a copy of the Service 1st 2027 Calendar! *While supplies last.
