Since 2015, Service 1st Federal Credit Union and Old Forge Brewing Company have been teaming up with local volunteers to raise awareness about Pediatric Cancer. As part of the Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania Pediatric Cancer Awareness Committee, we are excited to announce the kick-off event scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Join us as we set out to raise awareness and funds to benefit ThinkBIG® Pediatric Cancer Awareness Fund.

Enjoy raffles, drink specials including mocktails/cocktails and be there when Old Forge Brewing Company taps their Going Gold Lager! $1 from each pint sold will benefit ThinkBIG that night and throughout September. We will also have t-shirts available from past years for $10 each.*

Diane Dutko, Executive Director of ThinkBIG, will be there to inform us about what’s next for this growing organization. 

While many organizations focus on funding cancer research, ThinkBIG addresses another urgent need: the immediate financial hardships families face while caring for a child with cancer. From travel expenses to daily living costs, the burden can be overwhelming. That’s where your generosity makes a difference. Every gift, no matter the size, directly supports families in need—providing hope, relief, and the reminder that they are not alone.
