Things are getting a little quacky inside your local Service 1st branch!

For the past 31 years, Service 1st has raised money for local charities through an annual golf tournament. 13 years ago, the Annual Charity Duck Derby was born!

Our Annual Charity Duck Derby will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Join us from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm near Zamboni Park in Danville as we get ready to cheer on these special duckies.  At 12:00 pm, we’ll gather near the Danville/Riverside Bridge as thousands of ducks drop into the Susquehanna River and begin their race toward the finish line.

Adults 18 and over can purchase a single duck for $5, or a flock of 5 ducks for $20 and you can purchase as many as you would like. Each ticket is numbered, and on the day of the event a corresponding numbered duck will be dropped into the river. The ticket holder whose number matches the first duck to cross the finish line will win $500. Tickets are on sale in all branches and online now through July 31. 

To purchase your tickets online, click here to log in to Service 1st digital banking. From the menu select Transfers, then Donate. You'll first select the account you'd like to purchase the tickets from, and then select the amount: $5 for one ticket or $20 for a flock of five tickets. Tickets will be sent to the address associated with your account.

There will even be a special prize for the last place finisher!

All proceeds will be combined with those raised at Service 1st’s 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament being held on August 22, 2025, to benefit Camp Koala, Mifflinburg and Hunter's Heart & Hustle Foundation, Watsontown.
