Service 1st and 94.1 WQKX Honor Outstanding Teachers

(Danville, PA) – Service 1st Federal Credit Union and 94.1 WQKX recently presented four Outstanding Teacher Awards to local educators.
Throughout April, individuals were encouraged to nominate educators for their remarkable work. Four teachers were selected and announced on-air weekly. Each Outstanding Teacher was asked to select a club or organization at their school to receive a $1,000 donation from Service 1st.
The 2026 Outstanding Teacher Awards, and donations, were presented to:
- Christina Landau, Art Teacher, Shikellamy High School
- Denya Burris, Work Study Advisor, Midd-West High School
- Matt Lupold, Math/Computer Science Teacher and Leader of the Bee Club, Lewisburg Area High School
- Kendra Glodek, Second Grade Teacher, Priestley Elementary School
Since the start of the program, ten years ago, Service 1st has donated $40,000 to area schools celebrating these amazing educators.
