Service 1st Float Earns First Place in 2026 Grand Slam Parade

Williamsport, PA –- Service 1st Federal Credit Union was awarded first place in the Medium/Large Business category for its float in the 2026 Grand Slam Parade, held Tuesday, August 18, in downtown Williamsport.
The annual parade marks the start of the Little League Baseball World Series and welcomes the 20 participating teams to the Williamsport area. Service 1st team members joined other businesses, community organizations, marching bands and groups as thousands of people gathered in downtown Williamsport for the celebration.
Service 1st’s float featured the theme “In a League of Our Own,” highlighting female baseball and softball players Toni Stone, Mo’ne Davis, Jessica Mendoza and Kelsie Whitmore. Team members, joined by Service 1st’s beloved mascot, Crissie, walked alongside the float, greeted those attending and helped welcome players, families and visitors. Service 1st thanks the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, parade organizers, volunteers and everyone who helped make this year’s event possible.
