(Danville, PA) – Three Service 1st Federal Credit Union employees recently earned the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation through the Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP). This increases Service 1st’s total to 37 CCUFCs.
The most recent graduates of the program include: Robin Buck, Assistant Market Manager, Mifflinburg Office; Brittany Kimock, Digital Solutions Specialist, Contact Center; and Bri Sharp, Assistant Market Manager, Corporate Center Office.
FiCEP, administered by America’s Credit Unions, provides credit union employees with the skills and knowledge required to guide their members to make sound financial decisions. Often, people learn about finances from their families, friends or just go it alone. However, making an appointment with a CCUFC is much more beneficial, because of the rigorous training and testing they successfully completed.
“This accomplishment is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to empowering our members with the financial knowledge and guidance they need to thrive,” said Karen Wood, Chief Experience Officer, Service 1st. “Their achievement not only reflects their personal growth, but it also strengthens our mission to serve our members with excellence.”
