Service 1st and 94.1 WQKX Team Up to Honor 2024 Outstanding Teachers

(Danville, PA) – Service 1st Federal Credit Union and 94.1 WQKX recently presented four Outstanding Teacher Awards to local educators. 

Throughout April, individuals were encouraged to nominate educators for their remarkable work. Four teachers were selected and announced on-air weekly. Each Outstanding Teacher was asked to select a club or organization at their school to receive a $1,000 donation from Service 1st. 

The 2024 Outstanding Teacher Awards, and donations, were presented to: Jennifer Anderson, Warrior Run Elementary School; Aaron Ettinger, Selinsgrove Elementary School; Christina Landau, Shikellamy High School; and Kathy Shellenberger, Midd-West High School.

Since the start of the program, eight years ago, Service 1st has donated $32,000 to area schools.
